Josh first broke into filmmaking by making short documentaries, with his work for BBC Three earning him a spot on the BBC’s New Talent Hotlist. Whether directing actors or untrained talent, Josh's work remains driven by people, combining a sensitive approach with a keen eye for casting and instinctive camera movement to elevate relatable, human stories.

After his second BFI and Film & London funded short film SEEKERS had its premiere at London Film Festival, the feature-length version in now in development with Agile Films. The project was recently awarded Early Development funding by the BFI.
